What is Twisted Bundle PP Fiber?

Twisted Bundle PP Fiber (also called bundled PP macro fiber) is produced by precision drawing and surface treatment so that each bundle separates rapidly during mixing and forms a dense 3D reinforcement network. Compared with plain monofilament, the twisted bundle delivers faster opening, stronger mechanical anchorage and higher efficiency at the same dosage. It is chemically inert, non-corrosive, lightweight, and causes zero wear to mixers and pumps.

ECOCRETE™ Twisted Bundle PP Fiber is engineered from premium polypropylene and processed to open quickly in mixing, dispersing into thousands of micro-filaments that bridge micro-cracks and toughen the matrix. It improves crack control, anti-seepage, impact resistance and durability across floors, roads, tunnels and water structures.

How to Use & Recommended Dosage

  • Typical Dosage (general crack control): 1.0–1.5 kg/m³
  • Enhanced Toughness / Shotcrete: 3.0–6.0 kg/m³
  • Hybrid Recommendation: For surface crack control on slabs, combine Twisted Bundle PP Fiber 1.0 kg/m³ with PP Mesh/Monofilament 0.4–0.6 kg/m³ for optimized micro- and macro-crack bridging.
  • Mixing Procedure: Add aggregates → add Twisted Bundle PP Fiber → add cement → add water/admixtures → mix until full dispersion; adjust water or admixture for target workability.
  • Compatibility: Works with standard ready-mix, pumping and shotcreting equipment; compatible with common admixtures.
