Crack Control for Ballastless Track and Precast Elements

The Jakarta–Bandung HSR crosses long viaducts, tunnels, and complex urban interfaces. To reduce early-age shrinkage cracking and improve surface quality in ballastless track slabs, precast girders, pier caps, and station platforms, the concrete mix adopted Ecocrete™ Polypropylene Monofilament Fiber. The uniformly dispersed micro-fibers help arrest micro-cracks at initiation, support cleaner joint arrises, and enhance abrasion and impact resistance from construction traffic and maintenance cycles.
